Fear has gripped residents of Gomoa Benso in the Gomoa Central District in Central Region over a dilapidated wooden public place of convenience which has become a death trap.

The facility which was constructed about a year ago is the only public place of convenience, serving the community of over two thousand inhabitants.

According to the residents, they have made persistent pleas to the Assembly Member, but all to no avail.

They later expressed fear about possible outbreak of cholera in the community, if a lasting solution is not found to solve the problem immediately.
