Ghana Amputee football Association to organise Amputee league

The Ghana Amputee Football Association has formed a Technical Committee to manage its upcoming nationals league.

The Committee, headed by head coach Ali Jarrah is to oversee the running of the league in collaboration with regional representative of the Association and prospective club owners.

Other members of the Committee are Mr. Wisdom Yemenuie, Member of the Association Management Board, Charles Narh Teye manager of the National Team and Philip Otuo a media practitioner and former coordinator of the Association.

According to Rev Amartey Adesah Chairman of the Association the committee would liaise with the Regional clubs and all prospective club owners in the country in the day to day running of the league.

He disclosed that some clubs have already been formed in the Brong and Ahafo and Ashanty Region of Ghana, with some more coming up in the Greater Accra and Eastern Region paving the way for an exciting league ahead.

The committee would soon meet with prospective club owners in the country to streamline the modalities for the running of the league.

He added that they ensure that the league is responsibly run considering the condition of our athletes.

The Ghana Amputee Football Association would launch the league soon to kickstart the maiden tournament in the history of the country.

Coach Ali Jarrah Technical Head of the National Team expressed his delight at the formation of the committee for commencement of the league.

The league would make the players very active and also afford the Technical Team the opportunity to assess the players in order to pick the best talents for national assignments.

He said they look forward to an exciting league and ask Ghanaians to embrace themselves for more action as they kickstart the league soon.
