Gov’t Will Not Leave Any Stone Unturned In The Fight Against Covid-19 – MCE

The Chief Executive of the Agona West Municipal Assembly, Mrs. Justina Marigold Assan has reiterated government’s efforts to fight against the spread of the Corona virus in the country.

Addressing the media during the national disinfection exercise in the municipality, Mrs. Marigold Assan stressed that the government is using every possible means to fight against the spread of the pandemic which has become a global concern.

Though the country had recorded 313 cases with one in the Central Region, the MCE warned the public, especially those in the region not to use that as an excuse, but abide by the precautionary measures such as social distancing and hand washing put in place by the health ministry to fight against the spread of the virus.

The disinfection exercise which was led by staff of the Assembly, the Environmental Health and Sanitation with support from the Police, Ambulance and the Ghana National Fire Service took place at the Mandela mnarket, the Metro Mass Transit Bus terminal, the main station and main market as well as at Agona Abodom and Nyakrom and their surrounding communities.
