On his part, the Guatuaahen of Agona Nyakrom, Nana Adu Peseko in collaboration with some eminent      personalities in the town, and with the support of the Paramount Chief of the Agona Nyakrom Traditional Area, Nana Nyarko Eku X have established what they call Association of Quality Education and Development Attainment [ASQEDA] to support the education of brilliant but needy students in the area.

So far, over fifty students in both Junior, Senior High and Tertiary Institutions are said to have benefited from the scholarship scheme instituted by the Association.

According to Nana Adu Peseko, some of the beneficiary students are also in the various Training Colleges and Nursing Training Schools across the country, with seven of them studying abroad in various fields of academics.
