The Minister in charge of the Agona Nyakrom branch of the Faith Salvation Church, Pastor Isaac Basoa has said that the influx of Fake Prophets in the world is a fulfillment of long time prophecies according to the book of Matthew who were said will adopt all forms of lies to deceive the masses, even including Christians, if care is not taken.
Pastor Basoa who made this revelation at the sidelines of a 4-Day Prayer and Fasting by the Church however noted that the development is becoming so alarming, considering some of the activities these so-called Prophets engage in, and has therefore called on all and sundry, including the Clergy to speak against it.
The 4-Day events which begin from Wed. 29 Aug-Sat 1 Sept. 2018 on the theme ‘’Call Unto Me and I will Answer You and show You Great and Mighty things which You do not know’’ will attract some Senior Prophets of the Church nationwide as well as some high profile personalities including ministers from other sister Churches in and outside the town.
He also condemned Charismatic pastors who criticize Spiritual Churches because of their way dressing and worship, saying it is important to learn more about one’s religion or faith before condemning it, stressing that the Faith Salvation Church will use the events to address this negative perception about Spiritual Churches.
According to him, every Church possesses the spirit of God, and it is therefore wrong for one to condemn another person’s religion and belief by describing it as fetish.
