Kyiriabosom Cautioned Over Presidential Ambition

The founder of the Ghana Union Movement Party [GUM], Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews popularly referred to as Osofo Kyirabosom has been advised by some colleague Clergymen to reconsider his political ambition of contesting for the presidency, as according to them, the political system in the Country is too corrupt, and that may turn to dent his reputation as a man of God and also the image of the Clergy.

The call was made by the minister in charge of the Agona Swedru branch of the Samaria Miracle Church Pastor Johnson Dzeameshie and the Gomoa Akropong branch Pastor of the Bethlehem Church Isaac Ansah in separate interview with Ghananews.com.

According to the Clergymen, though Sofo Kyire Abosom may have a genuine ambition of turning the fortune of the country around through the intervention of God, they however expressed fear that those whom he would appoint as his cabinet ministers should he win the up-coming elections may turn to be corrupt, especially as he is canvassing for people with interest and political ambition to join his fray.

They have rather advised him to consult and seek counsel with some senior Clergymen in the country of his presidential ambition before going into the contest.

Sofo Kyire Abosom has promised to revamp all the defunct factories established by Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, a promise that has gone that well with majority of Ghanaians.
