The newly elected Assembly Member for the Nsusosooso electoral area in the Agona West Constituency, Anthony Kwame Kum has donated three tricycles valued at GH 36,000.00 Cedis to his electoral area.
Addressing a crowd of supporters at the presentation, the new Assembly member disclosed that the tricycles are to be used for collection of refuse from households in the area at no cost.
He said the move is to help improve sanitation in the area.
Prior to the donation of the tricycles, the Assembly member, Anthony Kwame Kum graded a total of about five kilometers of access roads in the various communities in the electoral area which hitherto, had become unmotorable, fixed over thirty streets lights at vantage points and also constructed five foot bridges in the area, among others.
He pulled over nine hundred votes to beat his closest contender who only managed a little over three hundred votes.
