Over 1000 Children Benefit Under Compassion Int. Project

About one thousand school children in the Agona and Gomoa Areas are said to have benefited under the Compassion Int. project since its inception about ten years ago.

This was disclosed by the Area Director of Compassion Int. Mr. Patrick Kublenu, during its 10th Anniversary celebration at Agona Swedru.

He noted that over two hundred children selected from the Church of Pentecost, Methodist and the Baptist Church benefited under the project, with their educational cost catered for.

With its headquarters in Colorado in the United States of America, Mr. Kublenu stated that Compassion Int. has supported the need of many children from poor homes throughout the country, with some in the various tertiary institutions and training colleges across the country, whiles many others have also been put into vocational skill training.

As part of the celebration of the Anniversary, the children embarked on floats through principal streets of Agona Swedru as well as Quiz completion, Seminar and carols night.
