West Blue Embarks On Innovation To Transform Ghana Post

The Managing Director of West Blue Consulting, Mark Addo has assured that, collaborative efforts with Ghana Post Company will transform Post services in Ghana and make the company a world class courier service organization.

 

According to Mark Addo, the Ghana Post Centralized Valuation Centre, together with the implementation of the Pre Arrival Assessment Reporting System (PAARS) will bring business to Ghana Post.

 

He said these innovations will solve the challenges associated with the traditional assessment of items and boost the service delivery of the Post Service tremendously.

 

“The new system comes with the following benefits: Transparency and consistency in the assessment of parcels and items, the capacity of Ghana Post is to carry out home delivery of goods to every corner of the country, cheaper and improved service delivery and improve Ghana Post competitiveness in the courier service”.                     

 

Mark Addo was speaking at the World Post Day celebration in Accra which is celebrated globally to elevate the role of postal services, and allow for initiatives that would promote efficient postal service delivery.

 

Managing Director of Ghana Post, James Kwofie indicated that, with technology at its helm, Ghana Post has reinvented its services to meet the needs of customers in various sectors.

 

“Since the introduction of Ghana post GPS by the Government of Ghana supported by the Ministry of Communications, Ghana Post deliveries powered by Ghana Post GPS is on the rise. The company is touching lives with this just-in-time deliveries, beating deadlines and saving situations. In the meantime, over 7.5 million people have used the system to search locations in the country” he affirmed.

 

Director in Charge of Postal Affairs, at the Ministry of Communications, Samuel Adu Boafo praised the new innovations that intends to keep Ghana Post significant in the modern world.

 

“Thanks to innovation, the Post today stands tall in connecting people to their loved ones and business partners,” he stated.

 

The occasion was also used to officially launch the Ghana Post Centralized Valuation Centre.
