MOSA Affirms Commitment To Alma Mater

The Old Students Association of Mosano Senior High School (MOSA) has affirmed its commitment to the development of the school by constructing a sick bay for the school.

The project which is estimated to cost over GH 110,000.00 Cedis is expected to be completed in two years.

This was disclosed by the president of the Association, Mr. Samuel Koufie in an interview with ghananews247.com at the sidelines of the 25th Anniversary and Speech and Prize-Giving Day of the school over the weekend.

Addressing the gathering, the Headmistress of the school, Ms. Perpetual Praise Amegashie appealed for the construction of staff bungalows to help provide proper supervision of the students.

According to her, the absence of accommodation for teachers in the school among others poses a serious challenge to the school.

First established as a community school in 1983 by the Musama Disco Christo Church with 35 students, the school was later absorbed into the public school system in 1990, and now has a student population of over 1,800.

Last year, 248 who sat the West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) are said to have gained admission into various tertiary institutions across in the.
