This website/paper has carried a publication in its Wednesday, November 22, 2017 edition under the heading ‘Bugri Naabu Is A Threat To Security In Northern Region – NPP Supporters’ authored by Prosper Agbenyega.
The story leveled wild allegations against the Northern Regional Chairman.
The Regional Chairman drew our attention that the story was not accurate, but rather malicious, intended to tarnish his hard worn reputation.
Upon further checks and interrogations, our sources on the ground could not substantiate the allegations against the Regional Chairman and had no evidence what so ever to back the story.
Our source neither visited the area where the accident was alleged to have taken place nor spoke to any of the people mentioned in the story.
GO News as well as the author of the said story therefore render an unqualified apology to the Chairman and retract the publication, calling on the general public to disregard all allegations in the said publication.
