Mothers have been urged to give their children, especially the girl-child good moral upbringing that would usher them into better marriage relationship in the future.
The founder of Our Lord’s Gethsemane Church in Agona Swedru, Prophetess Elizabeth Mbeah who gave the advice ahead of the Mothers’ Day celebration hinted that most marriages are now breaking up because of the bad moral upbringing of the women.
According to her, majority of mothers’ advice their girl-child going into marriage to seek for their interest, forgetting that marriage is an everlasting, selfless relationship ordained by God that binds the couple together in whatever situation they find themselves.
She later warned would-be mothers to learn to respect their husbands and see them as heads of the house, as that is the only way to sustain their marriage.
